GENERAL INFORMATION

WHAT ARE THE COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS?
It's mandatory for guests to wear their masks upon arrival. Our studio building has a mask mandate when walking in public areas (hallways, bathrooms, etc.) Once arrived to our studio, guest are allowed to remove their mask. However, we advise guests to wear their mask if they're taking a break from filming or modeling or if they're not eating/drinking.

HOW BIG IS THE SPACE?
Our studio is 843 sq ft.
​

HOW'S THE PARKING?
We're located on Worth St in the Frankford area. Worth St has street parking on both sides of the street. However, please don't park in areas where your car could be towed. Our studio isn't responsible for towed vehicles.

HOW'S THE LIGHTING?
We have 3 windows that brings in natural light. Due to it facing a courtyard with 3 other surrounding buildings, the natural light may not last as long as it should, but it's a great settle visual.
​

HOW'S THE SOUND?
Our studio space isn't sound-proofed. However, we've had plenty of film/audio production bookings that were still satisfied with our space.
​

DOES THE SPACE HAVE A SOUND SYSTEM
We have the JBL PartyBox 100, which is a great speaker for our size studio and has great sound.
​

DOES THE STUDIO HAVE RESTROOMS?
Our building has restrooms, but the studio itself doesn't have one. The restrooms are located near the building entrance. They're separated by men & women restrooms & has 2 stalls in each room (with one stall being handicap accessible).

HOW DO I LOAD EQUIPMENT?
We'll have 2 dollies available for transporting equipment. Our building doesn't have elevators, but we're located on the 1st floor so elevators aren't needed.

WHAT CAN I PHOTOGRAPH/FILM IN THE SPACE?
Guests are allowed to photograph/film in the studio space, the hallways of the building, and the exterior of the building, if needed.
​
​
ARE THERE ANY RECORDING DEVICES IN THE STUDIO?
We have 1 camera near the studio door that covers public areas. For further information on our camera policy, please review our booking policy.

WHAT ARE THE RULES IN THE SPACE?

Guest can ask for time to be extended by the half hour (if there's no bookings afterwards). However, there will be an overtime fee equivalent to your hourly rate.

Food/drinks are allowed, but guest must clean up after themselves.

No smoking in the building AT ALL
-
Alcohol beverages are allowed depending on the occasion. Drink with moderation.

DO NOT tamper with our security camera under any circumstance.

Any guest that breaks our rules or policies will be backlisted.
​

WHAT IS A BLACKLIST?
A blacklist is a list of former guests who are banned from our studio. Situations that puts former guests on the black list are not paying fees for the the following:

Damaging our property

Camera tampering
-
Bringing more people that the guest initially reserved

Breaking any of our rules

DISCLAIMER: If you've book with us on Peerspace, we're required to submit reviews about our guests, and you're also required to submit a review about us. If we've had a bad experience with you, we must state why. Just like you can see our reviews from previous guests, studios/venues can also see what other owners said about you. Based on the reviews, they have the right to approve or deny your requests to use their space. We've only provided one bad review, and we'd like to avoid another one. We love our guests & want them to come back and create with us!

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?
No, guests of all ages are welcomed.
​
​
HOW MANY OUTLETS DOES THE SPACE HAVE?
We have 8 available outlets in our studio.

CAN I DECORATE/REARRANGE THE SPACE?
Yes, guests are allow to decorate/rearrange the space. However, guests must put everything back in place. Furniture cannot be removed from the studio space. Although we have artwork on our walls, we can temporarily take them down if needed & a removal fee will be applied.
​
​
IS NUDITY ALLOWED?
Nudity is allowed for photographers that's using our studio for maternity and boudoir photoshoots.

STUDIO RENTALS
​
WHAT'S THE HOURLY RATE TO RENT THE SPACE?
We have 3 different hourly rates:
-
$50/hr - Meetings, Workshops, Classes, Creative Workspace, etc.
-
$60/hr - Small/Intimate Business or Creative Events
-
$70/hr - Media Production (photoshoots, video shoots, podcasts, etc.)

When booking directly through our website, the booking comes to us as a request first. Therefore, you won't be charged immediately. Before your booking is approved, an invoice will be sent via email. The invoice must be paid for the booking to be approved and secured.
​

IS THERE A CAPACITY LIMIT?
As of now, our maximum guest limit is 20.
Every increment of 10 guests adds an additional fee to the hourly rate:

1-10 guests - $0
-
11-20 guests - $35
​
Example: If a photoshoot ($70/hr) is booked with 12 guests total (whether they're in the shoot or working behind the scenes, whether everyone does or doesn't arrive at the same time), an additional hourly fee of $35 would apply to the hourly rate, making the total $105/hr.

WHAT IS THE DEADLINE TO BOOK?
Studio Rentals - Bookings must be confirmed no later than 24 hours prior to your desired date & time. The confirmation involves the booking being secured via payment, which means submitting a booking request doesn't count as an official reservation. Any inquiries submitted under 24 hours will automatically be denied.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE'S A DOUBLE BOOKING?
If we receives multiple bookings for the same date & same time or overlapping times, we provide a 3-hour courtesy notification to the guest who inquired first. If we don't hear from the 1st inquired guest within 3 hours after we've notified them, the booking will be available to everyone & it will go to the guest that pays first.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I BOOK?

Website Bookings - After your booking is approved, you'll receive an email with studio arrival instructions & the codes you'll need.

Peerspace Bookings - After you booking is approved, Peerspace will send/provide the booking details which includes address, phone number & arrival instructions/door codes. It will be available until the booking is over.

WILL THERE BE A HOST AT MY BOOKING?
In most cases, the co-founders Briana or Jeff (who are also hosts) will be present prior to arrival. If a different host outside of the co-founders will be present or if no host will be present at all, guests will be notified ahead of time.

STUDIO SERVICES
​
CAN I BOOK THE STUDIO TO DO A PHOTOSHOOT FOR ME?
Yes. Our co-founder Briana is the in-house photographer for the studio, which is operated by her business, Disturbriana Media. All in-house photoshoot will be completed by her. ​
​
​
HOW DO I PAY FOR AN IN-HOUSE PHOTOSHOOT?
When submitting the booking request, guests won't be charged automatically. Disturbriana Media will sent a proposal (invoice & contract) from a platform called Honeybook to secure the photoshoot. Guests will be required to submit a 50% retainer (aka non-refundable deposit) and provide an electronic signature to the contract.

HOW DO I BOOK A PHOTOSHOOT?
All in-house photoshoots counts as studio services. Head to our studio services page & select desired photoshoot package. Submit the booking request, and Disturbriana Media will sent the proposal from Honeybook. Once the proposal is completed, the booking will be officially confirmed.
​
In order for photoshoots to be confirmed, proposals must be completed no later that 48 hours from your desired photoshoot date & time. Any photoshoot requests submitted under 48 hours will be declined automatically.

CAN I RECEIVE ASSISTANCE WITH MY PHOTOSHOOT THEME?
Yes. By booking our in-house creative director Courtni of Aprils Rain Visuals on our studio services page, she will help guests create concepts for their photoshoots & be present during the session. She will also gather any props guests may need for their photoshoot. However, depending on what they are, guests must be reasonable about shipping/delivery of props. Therefore, we recommend that creative direction should be booked with enough noticed to gather the requested props.

IS THE EQUIPMENT SANITIZED?
Yes, we sanitized equipment and furniture after each booking, with or without the COVID-19 pandemic.

IF I DON'T HAVE A CAMERA, CAN I RENT ONE?
Yes, you can rent one of the two cameras we have:​

Canon EOS 70D (DSLR)

Canon EOS M50 (Mirrorless)

By renting one of our cameras, you'll pay a $35 rental fee and a $15 insurance fee which totals to $50 flat rate fee. The camera can be used for the entirety of your session.
​
​
AM I ALLOWED TO BRING MY OWN PROPS/EQUIPMENT?
Yes, guests are allowed to bring their own props and equipment.

MEMBERSHIPS
​
HOW DO I BECOME A STUDIO MEMBER?
On our membership page you will pick your membership plan, fill out the form, & submit your payment for the first month.
​
​
HOW WILL I BE CHARGED AS A STUDIO MEMBER?
Members will be charged on a monthly basis, and will continue being charged until the member requests to end their membership. Members will book by selecting one of the rental listings (production, event, workspace) and submit booking request (member won't be charged). Once it's received, we'll approve your selected date & time. Members won't receive an invoice as their hours are prepaid for.

WHAT HAPPENS IF A MEMBER RUN OUT OF STUDIO HOURS?
If a member runs out of studio hours for the current month, additional hours can be requested. Members will be invoiced and receive 50% off the hourly rate.​
​

PAYMENTS
CAN I SUBMIT A DEPOSIT TO SECURE MY BOOKING?

If booking with us on Peerspace, guests cannot submit a deposit. A full payment will be required for all inquiries.

If booking with us outside of Peerspace, only event-related inquiries are eligible for a non-refundable 50% deposit. All other inquiries require a full deposit. However, we now accept Afterpay as a payment method where you can pay in 4 easy installments.

CAN I PAY FOR MY BOOKING OUTSIDE OF PEERSPACE?
If communicating with us on Peerspace's platform, guests cannot pay for their booking outside of Peerspace. Due to Peerspace's policy, we cannot discuss other forms of payment on their platform.
